Basic Info: Thor is a 1500 year old Asgardian raised as the God of Thunder. It's established canon that they (his brother and their friends) used to muck about on Earth a lot and that's how they came to be known as gods. Growing up, Thor was always the golden child, powerful, charismatic, and the future leader of his people. His hubris has gotten him exiled, and he's come to realize it's also made his little brother hate him quite a bit. He loves the little scamp, though he's caught wise to Loki's schemes. In recent years he's grown from the arrogant and belligerent future king of Asgard into a slightly wiser and slightly less belligerent actual king of Asgard (very recent) as well as a hero. As the self-proclaimed protector of Earth, he's become a superhero (and teen heartthrob), was dumped by an Earther, and still loves his family and his people more than anything. Besides, he's a hero. He does hero things. That's what heroes do. His drive to protect what he holds dear is only stronger now that they've lost their homeworld on top of losing his father and learning that much of his family's past was a fiction.

Do you have an endgame in mind for your character? Other than Thor learning to be who he is, not who he is meant to be, no, nothing concrete except for character growth.

Anything else? I've always acted on the idea that Asgardians in the MCU, while exceptionally powerful and the beings who inspired mythology, they are not the actual, literal gods Midgardians believed them to be, and that is how I'll be playing Thor. His lightning abilities will be greatly diminished and unable to effect the hotel in any way, though he is stronger and more durable than a normal human.
